The Smaller Shell

Seeing that the other one was the larger shell, and was loaded up today I decided to load this one up as well.

The Large Shell

Titled the large shell as there was anther done that was smaller. This one is 100,5 * 75cm, done in 2002.
Once again: Gold and silver leaf.

The Knife and Fork

This Set was painted with canvases of the same size : 146*92cm, and were painted in 2002. They have been liked by a lot of people but still have not been bought as together they are rather expensive. They will be good in restaurant I think. They are copies of a cake and knife set that belonged to my grandmother.

Jeans

This was once again done with gold and silver leaf, the only difference was that a real pair of jeans was stuck onto the canvas.
This was sold to a collector in Ireland.

Ice Cream Eyes

This little painting was was done with oil bars. I do not remember the size of the painting but it is about 30*30cm without the frame.
Was painted in 2006

Hulk

This painting was done for my boys. it is not my own design but taken from a comic book. The hulk was airbrushed and the background was done with gold leaf.

Golden Feet

This was taken from a photo of my feet. It was drawn onto a large canvas and then gold leafed. The background was then painted with oils

Golden Face

Golden face was done a very small canvas. The face was cut out from some netting and then glued onto the canvas.
Int his case the negitive space that surrounds the face was glued down. The positive section was glued onto anther canvas. The face on this one was gold leafed and the background silver leafed. On the other canvas the face was silver leafed and the background gold leafed.

I think many people are overly concerned with fashion, but there are a few that really look good in hats. So this painting was a mixture of the gold and silver as well as the pop art look.

DayDreaming

This one of my favourites, but unfortunately I no longer have it. It was sold to a collector in Ireland.
This painting was the result of questions "what if?". In other words what if the colour was changed to this, or the shape to that. So under this gold and silver painting a many other variations.

This was done on a sheet of massonite with different pieces of cloth glued on. It was then silver leafed and the back ground painted blue

The Coloured Statue

I have long admired the classically trained artists, and one of their training sessions involves drawings of plaster casts. So I started doing the same thing, I bought this plaster cast and then made hundreds of drawings. Then decided to make a gold and silver painting on canvas.
